Managing Subscriptions in the Tenant Workspace

The Subscriptions section in the Tenant Workspace allows tenants to view and manage their active and trial subscriptions. This guide provides detailed instructions on the available subscription management options.

Subscription List

In the Subscriptions section, you will find a list of all your subscriptions. Each subscription card provides the following details:

  • Status: Indicates if the subscription is active, inactive, or in a trial period.
  • Product: The name of the product you are subscribed to.
  • Plan: The specific subscription plan (e.g., Pro Plan). If the subscription is in a trial period, it will also display the duration of the trial.
  • Created Date: The date when the subscription was initiated.
  • Expiration Date: The date when the subscription will expire.
  • Renewals: Displays information about the renewal status of the subscription, including options to enable auto-renewal, upgrade, or downgrade the subscription.
  • Payment Method: Shows the payment method used for the subscription.

Subscription Management Options

Each subscription card includes a menu with the following management options:

Enable Auto Renewal

  • Description: Automatically renews your subscription at the end of each billing cycle. This ensures continuous service without interruption.

  • How to Enable:

    1. Access Subscription Card:

      • Navigate to the Subscriptions section in your Tenant Workspace.
      • Locate the subscription card for which you want to enable auto-renewal.
    2. Open Options Menu:

      • Click on the three-dot menu (⋮) located at the top-right corner of the subscription card.
    3. Select Enable Auto Renewal:

      • From the dropdown options, click on Enable Auto Renewal.
    4. Configure Auto Renewal Settings:

      • A prompt will appear where you can configure the auto-renewal settings.
      • Price: Select the renewal plan (e.g., monthly or yearly).
      • Auto Renewal Period: Check the box for “Auto Renewal - Renew Indefinitely” if you want the subscription to renew indefinitely. If not, specify the cycle count for the renewal period.
      • Payment Card: Choose the payment card that will be charged for the renewal. You can select from existing cards or add a new one by clicking on + Add Another Card.
    5. Submit and Confirm:

      • After configuring the settings, click on the Submit button.
      • A confirmation message will appear. Verify the details and click Confirm to enable auto-renewal for your subscription.

Disable Auto Renewal

  • Description: Prevents your subscription from renewing automatically.
  • How to Disable:
    1. Click on the three-dot menu (⋮) on the subscription card.
    2. Select Cancel Auto Renewal.
    3. Confirm your choice in the prompt.

Upgrade Subscription

  • Description: Upgrade to a higher plan with additional features and benefits. This allows you to access more advanced functionalities and resources offered by the new plan.

  • How to Upgrade:

    1. Access Subscription Card:

      • Navigate to the Subscriptions section in your Tenant Workspace.
      • Locate the subscription card for the subscription you want to upgrade.
    2. Open Options Menu:

      • Click on the three-dot menu (⋮) located at the top-right corner of the subscription card.
    3. Select Upgrade Subscription:

      • From the dropdown options, click on Upgrade Subscription.
    4. Choose Subscription Cycle:

      • In the upgrade prompt, select your preferred subscription cycle: Monthly or Yearly.
    5. Select a New Plan:

      • Review the available subscription options listed under Subscription Options.
      • Choose the desired plan that best fits your needs by clicking on it.
    6. Select Payment Card:

      • Under Payment Card, choose the card you want to use for the upgrade payment.
      • If needed, you can add a new card by navigating to the Payment Method section and adding a new card.
    7. Submit and Confirm:

      • After selecting the plan and payment method, click on the Submit button.
      • A confirmation message will appear. Verify the details and click Confirm to finalize the upgrade.

Downgrade Subscription

  • Description: Downgrade to a lower plan with fewer features. This can be useful if you want to reduce your subscription costs or if the current plan’s features exceed your needs.

  • How to Downgrade:

    1. Access Subscription Card:

      • Navigate to the Subscriptions section in your Tenant Workspace.
      • Locate the subscription card for the subscription you want to downgrade.
    2. Open Options Menu:

      • Click on the three-dot menu (⋮) located at the top-right corner of the subscription card.
    3. Select Downgrade Subscription:

      • From the dropdown options, click on Downgrade Subscription.
    4. Choose Subscription Cycle:

      • In the downgrade prompt, select your preferred subscription cycle: Monthly or Yearly.
    5. Select a New Plan:

      • Review the available subscription options listed under Subscription Options.
      • Choose the desired lower plan that best fits your needs by clicking on it.
    6. Select Payment Card:

      • Under Payment Card, choose the card you want to use for the payment if any adjustment is needed.
      • If needed, you can add a new card by navigating to the Payment Method section and adding a new card.
    7. Submit and Confirm:

      • After selecting the plan and payment method, click on the Submit button.
      • A confirmation message will appear. Verify the details and click Confirm to finalize the downgrade.

Subscription Features and Payment Method

Each subscription card includes a dropdown list with the following options:

Payment Method

  • Description: Shows the payment method used to make the subscription.
  • How to View:
    1. Click on the Payment Method dropdown on the subscription card.
    2. View the payment details used for the subscription.

Subscription Features

  • Description: View the features included in your subscription plan.
  • How to View:
    1. Click on the Subscription Features dropdown on the subscription card.
    2. A carousel will display all the features of the subscription, along with their usage and limits.
    3. Each feature is shown with a progress bar indicating the percentage of usage.

By following these steps, tenants can effectively manage their subscriptions within the RoSaaS Tenant Workspace. Ensure to regularly review your subscription settings to make the most out of your SaaS products.
